The hair has been cut in anticipation of chemo fallout. I don’t like it, but that’s life. (I caught the bangs a little too close, but that will fix) Saved a braid of what I chopped off because no idea if any red will return.

Went to a different place for dinner tonight in Langley right on the waterfront so we sat outside awhile after dinner. There were two crows who stayed close to each other - when one moved, the other sidled right back up to them, clearly a pair.

Things of note today, 4/12: It’s Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls’ b-day (celebrated in song), taxes are done, the Torrent have an open hockey practice which the other 2/3 of the household are attending, plans made for travel to Filkconbobulated in late June, and I’ve lost 25% of my former body weight.
The more we look at the names that are definitely coming, the more excited we get. We can't wait to see you this summer! Eric & Lizzie Please feel free to repost this.
We were informed that the original space for the con suite had been double booked. So instead of being upstairs, the con suite will be right across the hall from the rest of the con space. I love it when a plan comes together!

Today I committed a wonderful Spoonerism; instead of saying I walked into it “with eyes wide open” I said “ with wise eyed open”. Still makes sense when I think about it.
Topping off this insane trip with a cat puking in my bed at 4am and only three hours of sleep before that. Happy Solstice 🤣

My house (former house) is full of five humans, five four-foots, the crock pot is cooking, and the kitchen is full of pumpkin guts. There will soon be trick-or-treaters, corn bread, candles, and spooky movies. Blessed Samhain! 🎃

What I did this past weekend with my Girl Scouts at Meramec Caverns in Missouri (besides the cave tour!).
