yesterday there was this guy sitting in my class and i asked him what's his name. he said i should know his name, told it to me, and it took me a moment before i went "Oh!! You're my friend's teacher!" /
today im going back to school for the spring semester. my new year’s resolution is to go through art school with a “i just made some BULLLLSHIIIIIIITTTT” mentality

This is a very good visual for how talking about artists helps us. If you’ve commissioned, bought from or worked with an artist, please talk about it. It helps us a lot.
susie ghahremani@boygirlparty.bsky.social · 2y agoLast year, an author mentioned my shop on her substack. It changed my income so drastically that this is the spike of orders from that *one* mention last year. Word of mouth for an artist can change everything.
friends, please remember to support your favorite artists in the coming year if you have the means to. sharing their work, commissions, patreon, anything helps; things have been rough for literally every single one of us. i've been seeing artists get burnout in alarming numbers the last six months
