Today we participated in a hike as part of the Voyageurs Conservancy BioBlitz - documenting and identifying flora, fauna, fungi, etc for research purposes. Here’s some of my faves from the morning. #CitizenScientists

Last night’s lightning across the lake reminded me of an old Bela Lugosi or Lon Chaney film. It surrounded the cabin and went on for an hour or more. Pitch black to bright as day, over and over. Loved it! (The 60 mph gusts immediately after, not so much)

Finally settled in up at the lake! Everything looks great - not much smoke, pleasant temps (except maybe tomorrow), sunshine and shimmering water!
The Savannah Bananas are at Wrigley tonight (airing on ESPN2). I missed the majority of the “game” while watching the Cubs-Bucs, and I am totally LOST. It is bizarroland!
Just not a fan of baseball unis that match tops & bottoms - they look like PJs! (That said, I do love the Bucs stadium. Favorite after Wrigley, tbh)
