Nah lol I don’t know anything about my male friends in this regard and none of us have ever even hinted at being curious. I’ve intentionally curated a social network or healing men. We don’t even know one another’s income level. We don’t center men, not even our own maleness.

A year ago today my godson was born. He came with unique entrance after an emergency c-section and subsequently for the first five minutes he had no heartbeat and wasn’t breathing. He was airlifted to the NICU and fought to survive. A year later he’s t happy. Love you son-son.

Juneteenth is matters to me, not just as Freedom Day, but as a reminder of living in a system that will on paper give rights and create an environment where those rights aren’t enjoyed. Black Americans amongst the black diaspora had the unique experience of living long term alongside the oppressors
