Building the public trust in science has never been more critical for our community. In the afternoon, we have insightful talks from Dr. Jason Kindrachuk, Dr. Craig Jenne, and Dr. Yanet Valdez about the history, mistrusts in vaccines and how to establish trust.

Our recent trainee workshops featured amazing talks highlighting the latest in tumor immunology, host immunity at mucosal sites, and immune cell development, activation, and signaling. We want to thank the judges for their expertise and to all the participants who contributed to these sessions.

Earlier today, we had an inspiring CIHR-III & Early Investigator Session: Highlighting Excellence in Early Career Research. Talks from Dr. Amy Gillgrass, Dr. Joshua Koenig, and Dr. Giorgia Sulis, moderated by Dr. Charu Kaushic, highlighted impactful research and valuable career insights.
We conclude the symposium with talks from Dr. Wan-Lin Lo, Dr. Janilyn Arsenio, and Dr. Grégoire Altan-Bonnet 🔬 From TCR signaling and tolerance to T-cell responses in disease and immune decision-making, an incredible end to the session! Thank you to everyone for attending!

In the afternoon we learned so much from Dr. Kai Wu and Dr. Lakshmi Krishnan. Followed by that we heard from Dr. Idrissa Boego, Dr. Christine Chambers, Dr. Laurie Proulx, and Dr. Jaris Swidrovich about Community-based Discussion!
Awesome event! Our TEC Career Development just kicked off! Big thanks to all CSI faculty/industry members providing insights about their research and personal experience, and all trainees who attended the event!
