1/7 📱 How do European rules for digital platforms work in practice? Data from CEDMO show that users in the Czech Republic encounter: ❌ frequent removal of content and accounts ❌ low success rates for appeals ❌ non-transparent platform interventions More in the thread 👇

📊 In cases of content removal on social media accounts in 9 EU countries, the main reason was political opinions (12%), 📌 especially in the Czech Republic (24%). ℹ️ Content was most often removed by the platforms themselves (39%), while 24% was removed by moderators.

🌍 New CEDMO data: around 80% of people in CZ & SK say climate change is at least partly human-caused. 💚 People favor the environment over growth, but trust in government action is low. 🎓 About 65% support stronger climate education & public awareness. Read more 👇
