Through a fantastic collaboration with @mariasecrier.bsky.social we show how dormant breast cancer cells occupy protected niches, presenting a therapeutic challenge. Congratulations to @cenkcelik.bsky.social for a super study
A new study maps where dormant cancer cells hide in breast tumours: tucked into neighbourhoods of immune + support cells that may shield them from treatment. Understanding these hideouts could lead to new drug targets🧬 @mrc-lms.bsky.social @imperialmed.bsky.social @ucl.ac.uk
