Last night I finished the sketch for the first page of my new comic, but I still need to finish adding the dialogue in both Spanish and English before uploading it to Patreon. Then I'll upload the line art version, and finally the colored version. Page by page.
This sketch was a bit difficult for me to do, as it started out completely different, but I like the final result. I feel like sketching helps me improve my drawing a lot, rather than just making finished drawings.
I was almost ready to give up on this guy. I didn't know how to distance myself from the reference image, but I was so pleased with his face that I couldn't let go. I think it turned out really well.
I wasn't looking to do a Shaggy at first, but as I was trying things out I thought it would be more interesting if it was someone everyone could recognize.
that with restriction policies, much of the content is directed directly to paid platforms, this benefits companies and the state through taxes, controls what people watch, and sets a moral standard for how to consume and what type of content is acceptable.
