There's something really satisfying about a giant pot of food nearly overflowing. Anyway, this is my first attempt at Tom Kha soup. I had to sub out some of the more indigenous ingredients but it still came out pretty good!

That was only my third ever con (and second time at MP), but it was by far my favorite. Even without my own suit, just being able to handle for my friends made me incredibly happy. This was a real breath of fresh air between my summer and fall classes. I love you guys.

In a perfect world, I would have a popemobile-type setup where I could be driven around and see my subjects. But seeing as a Toyota Hilux cannot be peace bonded, I will instead require one slave who carries me.
No suit but you'll find me carrying THIS at Megaplex. (I am the one true GS-1 photographer, and if I see anyone else with one, we'll be doing 20 paces at dawn.)
I shall now proceed to scan my own medium format film. This also serves as an excellent excuse to screw myself over with 4x5 later in life.
