Bob Young's death hit me hard. I've spent the entire weekend adapting to the shock. I adored and respected him greatly. Collaborating and being good friends with him was truly an honour. I will miss immensely not being around. I'm only just this evening staying to formulate words about it.

A daily big walk to appease the hyperactivity gods. I went along the canal towards the Spree and ended up taking a walk with Tariq's ghost at the Soviet Memorial. I still think of him often. These excursions are my Hyperballad.

Today, I walked over to our daily place, the Soviet Memorial. In the same place as our last hangout is a single yellow flower in a blank square of grass. I miss him very much. The grief will continue to come in waves but now it’s possible to feel it through. I’m ready to concentrate again.

I pulled out my trusty old Sony a7s the other night. It’s been a long time since I did photography because it felt good. All is done in camera with only a little more contrast and saturation on top. It woke something up in me, even as an experiment. I started packing the camera in my backpack again.

Okay, breaking the social media 4th wall: send your good energy to my puppy, Tariq. We're on the floor together listening to the greatest hit of his favourites: Marlene Dietriech, Whitney Houston, and Donna Summer. He also got a raw salmon filet Let's hope for the best for my partner in crime! 😪❤️🥰🦖
