We are dog-less and pet-less for the first time I can remember. Dig Dog passed last night and is probably giving George hell in Doggy Heaven right now. She was a royal bitch, but she was my royal bitch and she will be missed. RIP babies.

Telling your dog that they're adopted is much kinder than telling them they were bought from a breeder or puppy mill where puppies are just a commodity for profit & their mother is stuck in a cycle of existing as a breeding machine. Never buy animals. Adopt from your local rescues & shelters. 🐕
I do this routinely but without any remorse whatsoever. Hubby no longer notices.
