Think my 4 year old grandson going to be an engineer. He’s putting together mouse trap game. I tried to help but he pointed out that I was screwing it up. He had to fix my mistakes. And he’s looking at the directions.
Charlie’s bestie Freddie is hanging at our house for a couple hours. They’ve been having a great time. Two romps outside, so far. Cooling off right now.
I’m so sad. I’ve enjoyed him from his first press conference when he was drafted. Seemed so wise and grounded for his young age. And watching him grow and get better every year, to winning a championship and being Finals MVP as well as a leader in the community 💚😞
Just started reading an old Betty Smith 1958 book that I bought online. Out fell some loose papers-5th anniversary postcard to join The Science Fiction Book club. And a reservation card for a trip to the moon on the expected future commercial trips to the moon!😬

Update from D.C.: Overnight, the Senate passed a bill that would fund the vital parts of DHS, like TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and cybersecurity professionals without handing ICE and CBP a blank check. Now, the House needs to get this passed. We’ll see if Republicans can get out of their own way.
