I had an awesome time attending the CESM Workshop @ncar-cgd.bsky.social the past few days and presenting in the paleoclimate working group session! It’s amazing to see the different applications of CESM across topics and institutions. I’m so grateful for NCAR’s support of early career scientists! ⛰️🌎

I had a great time sharing my research at @museumofscience.bsky.social through the Meet a Scientist program over the weekend! We talked about the Pacific Ocean's role in shaping climate and how we can use corals to reconstruct how the tropical Pacific has changed over the past 200 years.

I had a great time presenting at #AGU25! Grateful for the support of my advisor @kimcobb.bsky.social and amazing @ncar-cgd.bsky.social scientists. NCAR makes my research, and so much other vital climate science, possible.

It is hard to overstate how critical @ncar-ucar.bsky.social is to climate science in the US and around the world. It's the beating heart of our field. Generations of scientists have trained there, and almost everyone I know relies on deep collaborations with NCAR scientists. It's end is unthinkable.

NCAR is quite literally our global mothership. Everyone who works in climate and weather has passed through its doors and benefited from its incredible resources. Dismantling NCAR is like taking a sledgehammer to the keystone holding up our scientific understanding of the planet. Unbelievable.
