Y’all, please question articles that discuss foreign authors (especially dead ones) who are now appearing in English translation and receiving coverage in global outlets without any citation of sources. Biographies, in particular, are major critical sources and should not be erased.

Hanging chad question of my 2025 is this, how can we help English translation as a field & English translators as artists to stop acting in colonial-style erasure? & with that, related, to stop fronting sanctimonious & sacrificial? I ask this of us all & take seriously my status in the conversation.
