anyway as I frequently note, there was a very predictable and unsurprising cover-up - of the wet market where all available data shows likely first transmission from animals to humans, a market that was *supposed to not exist* under post-SARS laws and was owned by a uber-wealthy/connected family.

Why does China have a BSL4 lab in this city I have never heard of before? (13 million people, 7th largest in nation) We have (among others) a BSL4 lab in Manhattan, KS (metro pop 138k, 308th largest in nation)
It feels like we had a national "I don't care about surveillance, what do I have to hide" tendency and a "the phone book and public real estate records are doxxing" tendency and it is interesting to see the momentum on flock

The upper Midwest resisted this longest because of religio-cultural taboos against reveling in Ws, even within one’s mind, thereby making one more habituated to sitting with Ls.
This is street legal, civilian focused, almost $500k, gun ports and a machine gun turret. There is no situtation where you need this in the US and can reliably get diesel gas.
Getting to the airport and walking to the extreme opposite end of the terminal from your gate is normal.
