Create beautiful charts directly from Shortcuts!
Missed last week, but I'm back now! Here's a new shortcut I'm really happy with: visualize your sleep stages as a stream chart! Shortcut link: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/ebc0... I also built a free version that plots your recent deep sleep amount: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/e296... Hope you like it!
Another week, another @chartyios.app tutorial! This time, track your stocks using API requests and Charty! Free: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/41d0... Premium: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/5f28... #ios #indiedev #swift #swiftcharts #shortcuts
Here's this week's @chartyios.app shortcut: track your cardio fitness! It gets your VO2 max data from Health over the last 60 days and creates a scatter plot of how you're evolving. Free: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/5d20... Premium: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/5fb9... #ios #indiedev #swift #swiftchar
I also posted it to r/shortcuts (after checking it was ok with their lovely mods): If you wanna help Charty get noticed, please repost or upvote the post 😊

Charty 2.0 uses Swift Charts to create more flexible and beautiful charts!
It's got an entirely new interface completely written in SwiftUI! This new codebase is going to make updating it a lot easier in the future!
Charty 2.0 is now live on the App Store! After nearly 6 years, Charty has been completely rebuilt for better chart rendering, more reliable widgets, new palettes, new charts and new actions! #Shortcuts #iOS #SwiftUI #DataVisualization
Welp, Charty 2.0 is approved, but its release is on hold until App Store Connect starts functioning again and allows me to see my app list. I'll update everyone as soon as it works. Sorry about the confusion.
Charty 2.0 has been approved! Release date still not 100% set, but getting close! #ios #swift #shortcuts
Cool new chart using workout data! This is a stream chart, and it highlights four new features in @chartyios.app 2.0: - New Area series - New centered stacking - New smoothing options - Vertical grid
Hello everyone! As promised, Charty 2.0 is now on open beta! Just tap the link below to join it. testflight.apple.com/join/KEVbWYAB For more info, check the post on r/ChartyApp: www.reddit.com/r/ChartyApp/...
One of the major gains is that charts are now drawn using Apple's native technologies resulting in not only charts that are more beautiful, but also more customizable. #indiedev #ios #shortcuts
The app has been entirely rewritten in SwiftUI, and the result is a more beautiful app, less crashes and better usability all around. Also, widgets *FINALLY* update correctly! #indiedev #ios #shortcuts
I'm happy to report Charty 2.0 is finally ready for beta testing! I'll try and take this slow at first, with 100 invites at first, so stay tuned 🚀 #indiedev #ios #shortcuts
I've been exploring new color palettes for @chartyios.app 2.0! Trying to have some more colors, and some diverging palettes. #Swift #SwiftUI
The adaptation to #LiquidGlass continues here for @chartyios.app! As @davidsmith pointed in the latest #UnderTheRadar episode, a lot of this is removing custom code in order to get the advantages of what the system is offering.
Ok, let’s do this: here’s @chartyios.app 2.0 compiled for iOS 26! Really happy with how easy it was to get it running, but still needs some work on my custom controls 🚀
I've fixed something that was a huge pain for my users on @chartyios.app: the Update All Widgets action now works flawlessly! #iOSDev #SwiftUi #BuildInPublic
Some news on the @chartyios.app 2.0 front! - Updated the series and values selection making it easier to distinguish between them - Revamped the Tutorials view to make it easier to onboard new users and explain examples Hoping to get at least 10 examples there #iOSDev #BuildInPublic #SwiftUi
Huge rewrite calls for new icons! Here are the new icons for @chartyios.app 2.0! 🚀📱 #iOS #iOSDev #Indie #BuildInPublic
GitHub-style scatter charts will look even better in @chartyios.app 2.0! Been using these to get more consistent with my exercise routine. Light green are runs 🏃♂️, and dark green, CrossFit workouts 💪 Also noticed I haven’t exercised on Saturdays for a while, gonna try to change that next weekend 😊
Here’s a cool shortcut using @chartyios.app and Overcast by @marcoarment.bsky.social! Just take a screenshot from your 2024 recap on Overcast, and run this shortcut: www.icloud.com/shortcuts/ca... It’ll extract data from the image and create a donut chart of what you most listened to!
