being a strong enjoyer of the little things also means that the little things can greatly get on my nerves.

whenever a friend tells me "yeah this definitely feels like you music" i get really blushy and flustered. invigorating in a slightly vulnerable way, to have my preferences be both noticed and retained. my girlfriend said as such about this track quite a while ago. pile.bandcamp.com/track/the-jo...

can't help but be a little confused when i see someone say "ugh this took an hour to make". sometimes it takes me a full day to work on something and it's not really any sweat off my back. but also it's probably a matter akin to the same temperature at different locations.
it's my birthday again. i woke up with an upset stomach. i don't really have a drawing to share. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkIt...

my favorite track from each of radiohead's studio albums are as follows: ripcord, black star, climbing up the walls, kid a, pulk/pull, myxomatosis, all i need, little by little, present tense. b-sides are another matter entirely.
to be more lighthearted, macula dog and mogdog should collab or something. i think their music fits perfectly with his visual style. they also share a dog and an m.
on a similar tone, graham lambkin's aphorisms has steadily grown to be a comfort album for me, oddly enough. easily his most terrifying work to date, so i wonder if my adoration for it is similar to how i feel about confield. absolutely stunning sound design, gripping atmosphere, rocks to cling to.
confield is such a deeply personal album, in a way that's sorta hard to articulate. i get why people call it their most inaccessible and overwhelming work. but meanwhile, it feels like everyday life to me, that's just how my brain sounds. it's a little scary how relatable bine in particular is.
perhaps some of you are wondering why i haven't been talking or posting that much, and that's because i'm doing horribly. sorry! merry christmas.
i've seen artists post their wips sometimes. mine look like this sometimes.
a dustbunny somehow got lodged into the needle while i was ripping a sound effects vinyl, resulting in legitimately great musique concrète by accident. i'll have to keep that in my backpocket.
the carousel feature would've been nice for my batch of noelle drawings a while ago, letting all of them be seen as one work.
