Over the next decade, we'll face crisis-level national debt and unmet needs for healthcare and retirement. The choice is simple: leave billionaire wealth untouched, or tax them like the rest of us. Their untaxed fortunes could fund the public needs they claim we "can't afford."

Microsoft made more money in the U.S. than the rest of the world combined. But it paid MORE cash tax to Ireland than to the U.S. federal government. The rigged tax code is working exactly as designed. They stash profits offshore. Working people pay the tab.

What all three banks have in common: ✅Likely violated federal anti-money laundering laws. ✅Refused to report Epstein's activity until AFTER his arrest. ✅Protected their richest clients over their legal obligations. ✅Refused to cooperate with Congress.

His proposed bill would require greater accountability for wealth management executives, including annual certifications from senior bank officials that ultra-high-net-worth clients have undergone proper monitoring and “enhanced due diligence.”

Wyden intends to introduce legislation that would impose tougher penalties on banks and individual bankers who fail to swiftly report suspicious activity involving high-risk clients, according to the report.

A spokesperson for CBS News confirmed that Alfonsi had interviewed Wyden for a potential segment in March, but said the full story did not come together for airing during the 60 Minutes season that concluded in May. The spokesperson would not comment on any plans for the program’s next season.

Two months later, CBS News fired Alfonsi after she publicly criticized CBS News leadership and editor-in-chief Bari Weiss’s editorial decisions involving a different segment she reported. Neither the Wyden interview nor the broader Epstein story has aired

The report also says Wyden was interviewed about his investigation in March by then-60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi for a segment the news program was reporting about Wall Street banks’ and the US Virgin Islands government’s relationship with Epstein.

The report details what it describes as gaps in the banks’ reporting to authorities — along with similar, previously published info about JPMorgan. It alleges top officials at each bank facilitated Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation by disregarding his suspicious financial dealings

These allegations, based on reviews of nonpublic records held by the Treasury Dept, are detailed in Wyden’s report, “Looking the Other Way: How Wall Street Banks Enabled Jeffrey Epstein’s Sex Trafficking.” The document describes Wyden's multi-year investigation into Epstein’s financial network.

Bank of America didn't promptly report millions of dollars in suspicious Epstein-related transactions connected to billionaire Leon Black, including "two unusual wires" & others that did “not have a verifiable business purpose” and “no apparent economic, business or lawful purpose”

NEW/EXCLUSIVE: Deutsche Bank failed to promptly report to US authorities more than $250M in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein, including funds used to pay women in Russia & other Eastern European countries, according to a new report from @wyden.senate.gov 🎁 🧵 www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Phang: "The fact that it's taking France and England and other foreign countries to be able to launch investigations, and yet our American DOJ is sitting on it doing absolutely nothing, including not cooperating with those foreign nations, is such a big red flag."

This deal solidifies the Trump family's immunity from tax audits. Under no circumstances should the American people believe that Trump‘s former personal attorney will stop his schemes to funnel taxpayer dollars to his allies and supporters.

FLAG: Trump gets to keep tax immunity for himself, his sons, and the Trump Organization under the new 'deal' struck by Todd Blanche. The new order also reaffirms that Trump won't have to pay any taxes he might have owed the IRS.
