The new Nepenthes bag is coming soon! I spent so much time working with the manufacturer on the sample, and now I’m finally happy with it! It will be a perfect bag for our bug friends, and totally safe for them😉 I am expecting the whole batch to be done and available in September! 💚

One of my friends shared a photo of a wasp infested with cordyceps, which inspired me of this random piece of illustration just for fun! 😂🌱

Happy National Moth Week! I’ve done this giant silk moth & Luna moth illustration a while ago, and I’m still happy with the palette chosen for this piece. 💛

Wish everyone’s had a great Jewel beetle June! I’ve been busy with a big project (will reveal later this year) traveling and moving, but still managed to finish this piece! I just love those living gems, nature is so colorful 💚🌈

Got a little bit time to draw a playful bumblebee! 🐝 A recent research showed the problem solving ability of bumblebees! Without any training, they figured out how to roll a ball to a proper spot and used it as a step ladder to reach their sugary rewards.

I’ve been sooo busy recently for any new artwork, but finally get some time for a new Rhino beetle pin design! Let me know which color variant do you prefer! 💚💚

Long live the queens! Some of those eusocial critter queens do have an extremely long life span up to 30 yrs or even longer (naked mole-rat, ants and termites), which is phenomenal considering their sizes. Which queen would you wanna be or serve if you’re a little critter? 👑

New logo! I feel it better represent my most popular bug characters and their styles, but I also love my old logo (it’s a Timelaea caterpillar 🐛 btw) and it will still appear on a lot of my merch!

Big news! My first ever resin figurine Herko is here! From the original handmade clay design, to 3D model and finally this, it was such a long way we went through! I can’t wait to make more friends for Herko in the future, but now you can find them at my online store! 💚

What we bug lovers can do in the Year of the Horse? To admire the humble camel cricket! Known as Zao Ma in Chinese, which means “kitchen horse”, it is the mount of the Kitchen God Zao Jun, and brings good fortune & indicates plenty of food on the plates.
