Kinda gross that while Mamdani is trending Bluesky is shoving a bunch of insufferable Zionists in my face complaining about him acknowledging the genocide in Gaza and those responses completely burying the story of him providing healthcare for trans kids.

I have a video with a million views basically talking about how this series finale completely tainted the show. I do look back on the earlier seasons fondly (I even think S3 has some great elements), but the show definitely lives in the shadow of its own awful ending.
What TV show got so bad it effectively destroyed your appreciation for the show when it was was good?
The numbers aren't there to remove Trump from office even if Dems get the best case scenario out of the midterms, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't do it. The point is that Dems need to show a desire to hold him accountable. Anything less portrays weakness.
Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel calls on Democratic lawmakers to set aside plans to impeach President Trump if they win a majority in the House, pushing them instead to pass an ethics reform package.
This weird desire to redeem Geller as soon as possible feels like a combo of people not wanting to lose him as a creator and also the fear that they themselves could create something as large as Geller and lose it overnight. They don't understand that part of redemption is the consequences.
It’s honestly really triggering for me that once again, in the aftermath of people finding out a man who is a beloved public figure committed sex crimes in his past, the conversation has to immediately shift into how and when the guy can return to the status quo he was in
I appreciate that Geller isn't trying the feign innocence here, but holy shit is this bad. He built a career partially out of presenting as a feminist leaning "safe" man and presented himself as that to other creators who boosted his career without knowing his history.
If the Danielson/Mox reconciliation wasn't enough we got Bryan coming out of retirement to back up the Death Riders. What an incredible, sad, beautiful night. This is what is fucking about. Wrestling is full of love.
Bryan Danielson burying the hatchet with Mox in storyline over their real life grief over the loss of PAC is one the most beautiful fucking things I've ever seen in professional wrestling.
Love Ospreay, but how many Assassin's Creed entrances are we on now lol?
Okada vs Ciampa is by far match of the night so far. Total vibe reset.
I get that Borden is really gifted for how new he is to this, but why the fuck did they give a rookie a spot like that? I really hope this show can salvage this, but I'm worried this is going to be All Out 2020 all over again.
Bojack being only #44 and the only animated show on here really makes it clear how the entertainment industry views animation. I mean not even putting The Last Airbender on here? Not a single anime, but Squid Game (which took a lot from Kaiji) is there?

Rogan is an opportunist. He backed Trump when it benefitted him because his dude bro audience vibed with him more than the Dem establishment. Now that Trump has lost everyone, but the most diehard MAGA loyalists Rogan has realized he has to pivot left to stay relevant.
Joe Rogan: “Trump supporters are fucking nuts, man. They're rabid. He represents something other than just a person to them.” Trump isn’t just their politician anymore. For MAGA and the Christian right, he’s become Messiah-like.
Me 7 Episodes Into The Wire: "McNulty seems like an alright guy compared to most of the police in this show." McNulty at the Start of Episode 8: "I will use my children to spy on a highly dangerous criminal tied to a double digit murder count."
Oh yeah I recently got caught up on the Spy X Family anime. Really loved it, but god is Yuri such an annoying one note character.
El-Sayed is one of the few Dems to even fucking bother to acknowledge how unserious the trans women in women's sports debate is. It really isn't hard to point out that it's a nonissue that Republicans obsess over while everything else in the country goes to shit.
Recently started watching The Wire and I love how one of the big themes already is how police officers' loyalty towards one another drags them all down. Even the ones that seem "good" on the surface will jump in on brutality if it means defending their own. They value each other over justice.
Getting caught up on AEW and the tribute to The Butcher and Rebel is getting me to tear up. One of my father's best friends passed from ALS. It's such a horrifying disease. I hope so much to someday get to witness a cure/vaccine.
I hope this shit gets resolved for him. YouTube has had shitty relationship with video essayists for years, but it's reaching a whole new level. Every video essayist needs to be concerned about this.
Almost every video I've made in the past year has been demonetised. YouTube is getting much worse, and it has now made it impossible for me (and most video essayists) to earn a living. Please share.
There's something really sad about having family that are supportive, but not in the way you need them to be. Like they'll move heaven and earth to try and set you up with a better paying job, but don't understand that you're already burnt out from employment and disillusioned with life.
The night before Halloween question is a dead giveaway for if you're from New Jersey.
I've come to understand this feeling so much since I started being employed. You burn through so much of your energy stores just working and then you get home and you can't even do shit with the time you have left over which makes it feel like your life is nothing but work and recovery.
Fucking WHAT
Looks like I got a job interview and don't even know how to feel about it. Job doesn't seem that appealing and I'm already burnt out from my part-time job. It feels so fucked up to be pressured to move to full time like this when I wish I could just stop everything for a few months and recover.
Continuing the hyperfixate on Deltarune. I find it so interesting how such a strong theme of the game is how these characters are going to have their own thoughts and agency outside of the player's influence including the main character of Kris.
It's crazy the degree to which older established artists who already have more than enough to retire are willing to endorse AI. They aren't the ones who have to navigate establishing themselves in markets full of slop designed to replace them. It's easy for them to ignore the consequences.

Finally got caught up to Deltarune. Genuinely adored it. Undertale was already one of my favorite games and Deltarune has so many of the same qualities that made it great while doing things to set it apart.
At Death Before Dishonot. Why does Tony keep insisting on booking Lio Rush to lose despite being insanely over? Like why on Earth did Andretti need to win here?
I find it so funny that before his huge matches against Danielson and Ospreay in AEW he had goofy comedy matches with them in PWG. Like two of the greatest of all time just going out there and doing fun dumb shit like this.
I can’t wait for Wembley. #AEWDynamite
At this rate every left wing member in the house needs to refuse to vote for him as leader. He so clearly doesn't want to work with the socialist wing of the party. Our vision for the future of this country isn't possible with him as a leader.
WELKER: As Democratic leader in the House, would you vote for or against Medicare for All? JEFFRIES: It's not legislation that I currently am co-sponsoring or that I support, but I support the notion we've got to find a path forward to fix our broken healthcare system
We aren't noticing it in older groups because they aren't the ones getting diagnosed. Most who get a diagnosis get it when they are a child. We didn't start seriously diagnosing it until the 90s. The reason for the spike in autism rates is pretty obviously bothering to diagnose.
RFK Jr on autism: "'Oh, we're just noticing it more.' But this is an absurdity ... if we were just noticing it more, we would notice it in older groups. But we're not ... so something happened in the mid '90s that changed our children"
