So I've dug ears deep into my redeem system... especially the "Give EXP!". It was a big mess of a node graph and every addition I had make jumbled the proof-of-concept style setup even more. Rebuilt from the ground up there's been some improvements and fun upgrades! (pic for attention / example)

Show and tell from the cabinet. This is my, Tamiya Globeliner. The very first Tamiya truck I got, and immediately dived deep into customization. The stock front felt a little too toylike and bulky for me, so I set out to design a new grille and bumper in Blender which was then printed out. [1/6]
Had a great day yesterday, went to the DAF museum. Saw a lot of pretty things and got to get up close and personal with DAF "The Bull", one of my favorite vehicles from the DAKAR. As well as seeing some nice RC models to give me inspiration to carry on building my own!
Iteration 2! wider prongs for easier setting down, wider base to avoid toppling over. Now I need to do the difficult one, powered axles...
So I'm officially in a CRISIS. My roommates are no longer able to house me due to financial reasons [one of them takes life saving medication that costs 500+ monthly, on top of rising rent]. I have 1 month to find a place in Western PA, or I'm forced to return to Texas. [I don't wanna go back.]
"But Cherry what are you printing now?" Just some QoL stuff for RC truck building. An axle stand to lift the truck off it's wheels so I can work on it and possible debug some electronics without having to fear it will race off the table. This one is for unpowered axles like steering or lift axles
Y'know... let's throw out this random little thing you internet degenerates can jump on... My 3D printer "clicker trained" me. When it do beep, I need to clean the nozzle from debris to keep the prints from failing X3
So last night on stream I was redesigning the bullbar bumper, this is how it turned out. On the first picture is a blank which I used as fitment test, and the other two are the first iteration of the final version. It needs some slight adjustments but already fits amazingly

Little less happy posting possibly but... I find it so incredibly hard to stand up for myself unless I'm really far past my patience and limits... I'm dreading the calls I have to make and stand firm about "I'm in burn-out, I need rest not re-integration"

So... I guess I fell off the map for a bit... Been busy with juggling work, getting my shit together, and hobby stuff, and this week I just cracked. Stress at work and bitching colleague just pushed things to a breaking point again. So now I'm at home, staring at my screens in a daze...
Shit's finally running, it's been an exhausting fight for about 1,5 days... running into issue every damn step of it.
Printer un-bricked because I had a space CR-Touch module on the now defunct Ender 3 v2... not it's just... regaining trust I guess
So little update. Somewhere during the night the printer pulled over a support and fucked up yet another print. Giving it a 100% failure rate on printing RC parts with PETG. Aside from that the bed level probe somehow got stuck and it's now a brick...
And so today concludes... sadness, fighting my 3D printer, failures, and half assed project progression... could be worse, could be so much better...

Just had an interesting weird idea... what if I make a little foto collage of my shark OC and put Murderface's Tittyfish song over it...
