you have to be your own biggest fan. you can be aware of flaws in your work and areas you can improve, but you have to love what you're creating more than a hypothetical audience ever could. you need to be able to look back at your work and say "i put in the work and made that, because i love it".

i just had to rapid fire book 7 appointments down at my local doctor office and the poor receptionist was like "oh god its my first day hold on" girl i'm so sorry

due to ~reasons~ i have had to be off my antidepressants for a few weeks, and i'm noticing for the first time in years that i actually have the urge to draw again quite consistently. or at least draw/write/create etc in that ballpark.
