⭐️ The Festival may be ending, but the conversations, connections & acts of empathy it inspires can continue long after today. As S.F. Said reminds us, books are among the greatest empathy engines ever invented, helping us step into someone else's shoes, broaden perspectives & understand each other

Last week we closed the Empathy Day Festival with a fantastic LIVE event featuring authors Matt Goodfellow & Manjeet Mann. ⭐️ During the session, students took part in a short free writing exercise. Helping young people explore thoughts, feelings & experiences while building empathy for others.

Every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read. A family with an infant using an NG tube was given one of our books. They were surprised, overjoyed, to see a baby represented this way. Recognition, inclusion, feeling seen. Why we publish the books we do. #Bookswithusallin

Representation matters, not as a special feature, but as a normal, beautiful part of everyday life. Thank you to the family & The Family Connection non-profit Indiana, who partner with early learning programs to deliver events like where the family was introduced to Child’s Play. More on our Insta
