As promised, here's the full version of this test sketch I made. Originally, there weren't supposed to be any characters in the scene, but I wanted to experiment with how I would do it and inserted Roberto and Tiago having a silly, random dialogue.

A sketch I made of a background test for a comic I'm trying to create about a sharkfolk world. Drawn over a 3D model. The scene takes place in the courtyard of the residential apartment complex where Roberto and Tiago live, called The Seven Waves. This courtyard has winding, wave-like paths with large cylindrical columns, an internal garden, and lakes crossed by wooden and tiled walkways. There's a large tropical garden at the top. There's a covering over the paths made of a transparent material in rainbow colors, as well as a structure with colorful, sinuous windows. In a rest area with a large semicircular bench, Tiago, the tiger shark, sits with a suspicious expression, listening to what his friend Roberto, the hammerhead shark, is saying. Curious about humans, Roberto wonders: Do humans really eat plastic?
