Thank you everyone who put in a submission for MicroCHIPs #1!! ✨ There were so many excellent submissions, so it's taken a bit longer to go through all of them than anticipated - but expect to hear from us TOMORROW whether your submission was successful! Thanks so much for your patience! 🌟

If you'd like to get involved, just fill out the form linked in our bio - deadline for submissions is May 15th! Spread the word if you can - we can't wait to learn some fun space facts from you!!

With just over a week left until the submission deadline for issue #1 of our new mini-comic series, MicroCHIPs, we've put together a wee FAQ about it! If you have any other questions not covered here, please get in touch - we'd be happy to answer any queries! (1/2)

MicroCHIPS FAQ: Q: I don't have a portfolio website, can I still apply to
MicroCHIPs using a link to my social media profile? / A: Absolutely, as long as your social media profile includes examples of your comic work! /
Q: Can I submit a pre-existing/already completed comic to MicroCHIPs? / A: Already-completed comics may not be suitable due to the format of MicroCHIPs and/or our submission requirements. These mini-comics will be printed at A6 so we'll need to ensure that text is legible at that size,
and our submission form asks that you submit a source-backed fun fact on the MicroCHIPs issue topic that you would then create a 1-2 page comic about.

There's some INCREDIBLE work happening in the Scottish comic scene right now, and I want to take a moment to do some shoutouts! International followers, this one's for you - Scotland has some amazing work going on that you really should be following along with 🧵👇

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Naomi, one of the incredible people who shared her story for "Living With Cancer: Our Stories". Naomi was a ray of light, kindness, and joy, and it was truly an honour and a privilege to have worked with her to share her story.
