Presenter: calmly dismantles a bad-faith gotcha about ethics in practice by explaining bad UX vs actual harm. Me, in the back of the room: howls respectfully. The trap was set. But she walked around it, held up a map, and asked if the questioner needed directions. 10/10 reversal. #CHI2025

#chi2025 Jack asked a legit question but in a super grumpy way. Seemed to throw off the student, which hopefully wasn’t Jack’s goal (but he should know better). His question, essentially, was “how is this different from other things that are learned on the job?” After skimming the paper, I’d say:
