1/2 🧵 Last year, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to meditate every morning. Didn’t stick with it. This year I tried again with a different mindset: don’t focus on perfection, focus on consistency. And somehow… it stuck.

You know the worst part about having a fever? Getting sick over the weekend. You spend your entire time off recovering… and somehow Monday still shows up right on time 😭 Finally feeling human again today.

Had a lovely chat with Parys G Khazaie today ☺️ Time flew by so fast we both lost track of how long we had been chatting for already XD Got to talk about networking, creating connections, & learned more about each other like how we both like Pokemon :D

Had a wonderful IRL chat with Deanna Dunne following up after meeting at the Laravel NYC roadshow. Got to learn so many cool things about her, and hope to hang out again IRL in the future~ Met up with my besties afterwards and had yummy "Yuen Tai" Pork and boba tea 😋

1/3 🧵 Half day Updated how my new app is handling the tailored resume is being AI generated to the user so while it generates each token, the frontend is rendering each individual token (character) of the new tailored resume.

As I was job hunting, I was inspired to build another app to help my job hunt journey. It tailors the inputted resume, takes the company's job description and company name, and generates a tailored resume to the user.

Implemented csv file export compatability w/ Excel Tested with Google Sheets to ensure cross-compatability for my app Tracklio Added file upload functionality with pdf files for resume used to apply for the respective job Started adding a user profile Strong start to the week 🔥

Have tickets for a Babymetal and Hisaishi concerts later this year, and honestly super excited for both of them 🤩 Can’t wait to see Babymetal for the 3rd time and get to experience my first Hisaishi concert 🥹

I think I need to seriously consider investing in glass case shelves for my figurines collection 😅 That way I can get more cute figurines and add them to my collection 🤩

Got some DSA learning and leetcode done (attempted to do some by paper, hard to check if you’re right when you can’t automate the tests 😅) Continued iterating on my job seeker app Went to my first IRL comedy shows and had a couple laughs 😁

Worked on adding some organization w/ my job tracker app & built out a sprint board to help keep things digestable in tickets Also built out my first draft of my roadmap, will have to experiment around with the dates on this one And rounding out the day I did some more DSA & signed up to a hackathon

In the spirit of May the Fourth, during this past weekend I caught up to Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord season one and I'm super excited for episode 9 and 10 🤩 I was always a fan of Maul from the Star Wars: Clone Wars TV series, so it's awesome there's a whole series lol

Just finished watching Unstoppable (2024) Can’t believe it’s based off a true story!! Anthony Robles’ story was super motivational to me as I continue job hunting and my journey in tech 🔥

Richard solo NYC adventures 🔥 Really enjoyed the lovely weather today Sat in silence and meditated at Bryant Park ☺️ Got to experience a surprise mini piano concert, which I discovered by happen-chance walking through the city, enjoyed quality time listening to the amazing music 🥹

Spent some quality time with @leaht.codes in NYC ☺️ Delicious Malaysian food, Italian sweets, and some bookstore browsing ☺️🙌

Attended @laravel.com Roadshow: New York City and got to meet a lot of lovely folks 🤩 The food was great and the vibes were popping with conversations 🔥 Had a wonderful time catching up with @leaht.codes too ☺️🫶

Had a lovely time getting to finally chat w/ Kelly Hill, MS, was honored to be her first digital coffee chat ☺️ Loved catching up after CYC 2025 & talking about driving, parking struggles, & knowing how to read paper maps lol Looking forward to seeing her again @ CYC this year!!

Day 11 Set some goals to strive for, including shipping out the MVP for Tracklio by April 28th 🔥 Debugged Tracklio app - google oAuth in prod desktop app - importing job data when user is logged in - fallback logic for server going down - added hot keys functionalities

Day 9 Dentist so painful, thinking about getting some water picks as recommended for the future 😭 Debugged desktop vs web browser experience for my job seeker app (Tracklio) Looked into exporting/importing job data as json files Started doing a deep dive DSA course Networked 🔥

Took quality time to walk and enjoy the NYC sakura blossoms and river view this past weekend 🌸 Got to discover yummy chicken, waffle fries, and some street performances too 🍗

Day 6 Today was a networking-focused day (tomorrow too) Chatted with Arathi Kumar about consulting, learned more about her tech journey, and anime!! 🔥 Worked on auth for job seeker app Watched Startup Secrets: Go to Market Strategies Looked into open source contributions

Took the time to stop and smell the roses today- even did a mini picnic with myself 😇 It was a nice way to force myself to appreciate the things around me instead of constantly trying to optimize everything, definitely going to do this more often 😁
