May be just a coincidence but lately have seen an uptick of posts of what perhaps should be called "reverse bank of mum and dad" - adult children being asked to bail out their parents by buying property for them to live in (while also having to manage their own housing costs)
Hysterical to me that the biggest bogeyman in America right now, what gets even the most milquetoast liberals manning the barricades and calling for direct action, is... a company that makes ANPR cameras. Absolutely car-brained to death

You'd never go broke overestimating how po-faced the UK rightwing commentariat is. There's a thin-skinnedness there, combined with a determination that as long as they're not having fun, no one can, that can only come from being constantly online
