LilK and I practiced tennis today at my high school alma mater Millard South. The courts are open to the public and in great shape. #LNK public schools could learn from this if they want to encourage more of their students to play tennis.

LilC is playing bball for Southeast this summer. Against Westside yesterday, he played at the 5 (natural position is at the 3) and was matched up sometimes against Westside's 6'8" Creighton 2027 recruit. This player couldn't drive past LilC, but nothing could be done about his fade away jumper.

Just paid $11.75 to watch LilC's club basketball game in Council Bluffs. I miss the days when I could watch him play a Y basketball game for free at a local middle school.

Congrats to #LNK #NorthStar boys track with their state title! Overall for North Star athletics this year: 2 state titles and 2 2nd place finishes. Amazing year considering it had 0 state titles and 2 2nd place finishes prior to this year since its opening in 2003.
