Started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and I'm enjoying it so far, but the opening chapters are just a big info dump. Hard to imagine anyone who hasn't played a video game would enjoy it or even get some of the terminology.

Doing a bit of an Alex Garland binge and just watched Devs for the first time and I'm not sure what to think of it. I love parts of it but hate other parts. The acting in places is ropey and it thinks it's cleverer than it is, but the cinematography and music are great. Thoughts?
I can't buy a like here nowadays, and I even see accounts with a few thousand followers barely getting 50. Did the algorithm change here recently or something?
