The BBNJ agreement comes into force! A victory for our oceans, planet and environmental multilateralism. Now the work begins. Quick, effective implementation is key. Our ocean is the foundation of our very existence. Today we took an important step to save not only our ocean, but also our future.

UNGA always gives crucial signals in a condensed time for what the future of multilateralism might be. We'll be analyzing these signals for the UN Futures Lab support to anticipatory governance & foresight. In the meantime. A few good places to get insights and analysis of UNG80 are in this thread 🧵
