This week! A good album discussion because we picked one of the most acclaimed albums ever: Burial - Untrue. It's the first installment in this year's spooky szn. Also another lengthy ode to Jeff Rosenstock as we all saw the big show (and I met him!). Plus I went to 4 shows in 4 days in 3 states.
Got to talk to Jeff last night, and he played Old Crap for the first time in like four years? Cool night.
Lotta talk about the Foxing s/t and (the actual best record) Nearer My God and The Albatross of course but I just wanna say I always thought Draw Down the Moon was and still is wildly underrated. Not as well produced as a/t maybe but there are some serious bangers on that one.
Just now finding out I missed Patrick Stump come out to do vocals with Weekend Nachos in my home town while I was in NYC 😭😭
