I am in a state of sadness. The light has gone out in my life. My #Father died this morning at Hospice at the age of 78. :-( I know that he is reunited with my late #Mother in heaven. I truly miss the both of them. Farewell to my Father (Dec, 17, 1947-Aug. 3, 2026). Photographed back in 2009.

In loving memory of my Father (Dec. 17, 1947-Aug. 3, 2026):

A 2009 photo of my Father and I wearing our Frederick Community College cap and gowns prior to commencement, this was when I received the Video Production Program certificate (before I graduated from there with the General Studies/Associate's degree in 2011). My Father at the time was the Media Systems Engineer for Frederick Community College.

Life will not be the same without you, Dad.

I know that you're reunited with my Mother in heaven, Dad. I miss you both.

I realize I haven't been on here in awhile. I wanted to update everyone. On his wishes due to his dialysis problems, my #Father was transported to #Hospice yesterday while he was still alert & communicative. Today, the news is bleak & sad. His nurses said that he is closer to passing. :-(

Like many, my Father & I are very concerned/worried & outraged. To all my fellow wonderful friends: Again, in case you are in search of a good friend to talk to, you all are more than welcome to converse with me. Curse the disgusting/putrid sleazebags known as Drumpf, M***rat & their ilk. #Resist

I stand with #PublicBroadcasting. Give generously to your local @pbs.org station, @npr.org station and/or adoptastation.org Public Broadcasting/Public Media is important and essential to everyone.

A classic/archived photo, from 2012: Posting this in support of #PublicBroadcasting. Public Broadcasting is essential & important to all generations. I grew up on Public Broadcasting and I still watch my local Public TV stations and listen to my regional Public Radio stations. #SavePBS #SaveNPR

The world's largest viking ship paid a visit to Navy Pier and Chicago on this day in 2016. The Draken Harald Hårfagre from Norway (far left), along with from Spain El Galeón Andalucia and other vessels docked at what is now the Navy Pier Marina.

Just remembered an old anecdote about Cary Grant - story goes he was in his agent's office & a telex came up on the tele-printer from a journalist asking "How old Cary Grant?". He replied back: "Old Cary Grant fine thank you". PS – North by Northwest, still one of the best films of all time IMHO.

"My son was a few years younger than Steve [Perry, who played Henry] and came with me to the set. At lunch, I bought Steve a hot dog, and my son got upset because he thought Steve and Kim [Hamilton] were my new family." — Ivan Dixon, star of Twilight Zone's "The Big Tall Wish"
