Don’t start that talking I could talk all night…

Heidi and I are celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary today! We’ve been a couple (of weirdos) for close to 34 years. Millions of laughs. Hundreds of concerts. Zero arguments! Okay, maybe a few. Very thankful for our family and friends. And, to anyone who happens to read this.❤️

Saw this on a car yesterday morning outside of the original Trader Joes. Had a great conversation with the owner about our respective rebuilding efforts. We’re not “Bumper Sticker” people per se. Well, not yet.

Happy 64th Anniversary to my awesome parents John & Karen. They got hitched on 6-2 ‘62. This shot is from The Rolling Stones concert at the Rose Bowl a few years back. They bought the tickets. As previously mentioned. They’re awesome.

Bill Graham and the Grateful Dead gathering the beautiful people for a good cause. Just turned 23. Trucked in solo from Santa Cruz. Flying High down on the floor by the right side speaker stacks. Los Lobos. John Fogerty and friends… Tracy Chapman solo, crushing it. Good times? Effing great times.

My dear Mother clipped this from the L.A. Times for us. We were unable to attend this Tweedy Family function ‘cause we were swimming with dolphins up where they launch rockets. (We saw a rocket being launched) Not sure how my Mom knew how much we love Wilco. Can’t keep from talking? Probably.

We went to Crystal Lake today. It’s a long drive to a little lake. Our goal was to escape the Fortress Of Mediocre. We met our goal. Took this shot and flipped it upside down so that the reflection is on top. Why? Why not.

Happy Solstice Day! Warm Winter Wishes to one and all!! This shot was taken a few mornings back. Sunflowers can grow year ‘round. Grab a pack of seeds and some soil. Let’s grow some smiles this season.

It’s Heidi’s Birthday today! In a rather challenging year it’s nice to have a someone by your side, ready to face everything that life throws your way. Always ready to hit the town, and boogie on down!!

Three Werewolves and a Scary Monster. The death of Bill Graham just a few days before the Oakland Halloween run cast a very real pall over the festivities. Ken Kesey’s Dark Star “rap” is one the heaviest things I’ve ever experienced at a concert. Chilling. Happy Halloween.

This morning. Not necessarily from our backyard because it’s all yard these days. This charmer is about four feet high and rising. A little splash of optimism helping me keep my hopes off of the ropes…

35 years ago! Easily my least favorite Grateful Dead show. Off kilter and listless. The band admitted later that it wasn’t a great performance. A thin carpet covered the ice. It was a long way to travel just to get cold feet…
