As Trump readies another disastrous escalation, I am going to Senate floor at 11am today to lay out the case to end this war now. Tune in.

More evidence Trump is totally not serious about getting a nuclear deal with Iran. This agreement will set off a nuclear race in the region, further disincentivizing Iran from limiting its own program.

A strategy of escalation will not work with Iran. It will just waste more money, get more Americans killed, and further unravel the Middle East.

So alarming. An anonymous Admin official today: “We do not have enough [air defense and long-range munitions due to low supply and battle damage] to safely sustain operations, and I don’t think the White House is aware of that,” the official said.

Another "run of the mill" corruption story - relevant to today's hearing on Trump's Attorney General nominee: It's the story of Grab A Gun, a company that put Don Jr. on its board and (VOILA!) got DOJ to change gun regulations to give it a corrupt head start in the market.

ICE has shot and killed 10 people since Trump came back into office. 2 more in the last week. In addition, 50 people have died in ICE detention. ICE has become a killing machine. We cannot let this feel normal. It isn't.

The CLARITY Act is the bill supported by the crypto industry to increase their reach into our banking system and broader economy. There are many problems with the bill, but most egregious is that is essentially legalizes Donald Trump's crypto corruption scheme. Let me explain.

Trump is trying to destroy academic freedom - he sees it as an impediment to his corruption of our democracy. I know university leaders, like those at Yale, are in a tough position given his attacks, but they are under no obligation to agree to anything other than what's required under existing law.

Tonight the Senate is voting to start debate on the annual defense bill. It's essentially an Iran War authorization bill. A totally unprecedented 50% increase in spending to fund the war without any meaningful restraints. I'm voting NO.

This is all just ballooning foreign policy malpractice. The negotiations are a “waste of time” because Trump’s negotiators change by the day. So do his goals and demands. It’s all gross incompetence that is costing American taxpayers and consumers billions.

Well sure but there’s a “market” for everything, including K-12 ed, police protection, clean water. We just choose to treat certain things as a public good with a basic level of access for all. We could choose to see some access to youth sports as a public good, not a luxury.

We just hit a harrowing milestone. There are now 1,000 hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics that have closed or are on the verge of closing since Republicans gutted Medicaid and the ACA to fund tax cuts the wealthy. Billionaires over patients. With deadly consequences.

Democrats have to win back the Senate if we’re going to stop Donald Trump’s daily, nuclear-grade corruption. The assault allegations against Graham Platner are disqualifying and he should be replaced as the nominee. But this can’t happen as a party insider backroom deal.

Just shocking this was a 5-4 ruling. This Court is so so badly broken.

It’s important to understand that the Court is now just an arm of the oligarchy. This decision strips the people of the right to limit the role of money in politics. It gives billionaires special rights to buy our elections. A precondition of oligarchy.

I actually think this statement is a big deal. Because it tells you all you need to know. They believe, in their bones, in an imperial presidency where the executive rules absolutely and uses his power to destroy enemies and enrich himself.

Today, I introduced legislation to require that the minimum wage be a living wage. $25 an hour is what’s required for a full time worker to pay their bills, and we shouldn’t accept that full time work leaves people living in poverty.

That Trump is willing to let people stay homeless in order to get his election rigging bill passed is the least surprising thing that's happened in Washington this month.

Anytime any respectable journalist mentions our two chief negotiators with Iran, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, they should note both receive sizeable paychecks from Middle Eastern nations with deep equities in these talks. It is a fundamental corruption.

The continuing price of Trump's incompetence. Trump signed a "deal" that was contingent on Israel ending it's disastrous war in Lebanon and apparently he didn't check that with Israel.

The plan is for this plane to be in service for two years and then Trump will take if for himself. No President has ever stolen an Air Force for himself. And you paid for it. The total cost could be $1 billion of your money for a new luxury jet for Trump and his family.

You paid for a plane with "a level of luxury that nobody has never seen before". And he's apparently taking it with him once he leaves the White House. The plane. The ballroom. The corruption. This guy thinks taxpayers are dopes. Your money is just his to live a life of luxury.

The humiliating Iran deal requires the U.S. to come up with a $300 billion reparations payment to Iran. That's more than Iran's entire GDP. Trump says taxpayers won't pay for it. So I compiled a helpful list.

I’m for the war ending. But this deal - which boils down to the U.S. paying Iran billions to open the Strait - is final proof of how predictably disastrous this war was.
