Growing up with games from the 80s & early 90s Im honestly baffled how one could even end up liking them! Watching GrandPOOBear play Lion King (SNES) & man, crazy frustrating just even watching it haha! My first video game was Ghosts'n Goblins for NES. I was 4. F me right? xD

We finally announced our game at the end of PC Gaming Show. Its a very ambitious game made from our small 10-man team. Huge thanks to my team and you guys for supporting us! Check it out! & Wishlist it on Steam if you find it interesting! store.steampowered.com/app/2843060 #intothewindgame
Noticed this while watching footage of builder games,Its a bit sad to see tbh If you spend 2-3 years making a game, its sad to see it come out the other end unrecognizable because you made a decision to use marketplace assets. Better to downscope art into something more managable imo! #Gamedev
I dont know whats going on with Starsand Island, but the gamepass early access version is buggy. Playing on Ultra & they completely butchered the EA version to make it run well? They also just deleted collision for a bunch of assets. O_o I'm so confused #StarsandIsland
Having played a bunch of the Nioh 3 Demo I can say that Yes I like the game & Yes its probably one of the worst optimized games out there. What you pay vs what you get in terms of graphics fidelity is not really worth it. Good game though, its just a sad state of things.
Alright, another Unreal Engine (5.6) Heads Up for people using Lumen + Non-Nanite Meshes + Packed Level Actors. It appears that surface caches doesn't properly get forwarded/generated for packed level actors BPs with HISMs inside. tinyurl.com/yus8cctx #UnrealEngine #UE5
Had another one of these Win 11 BS things in Unreal. This time in the editor instead of a game. After the PC has been running a while (days + sleepmode), performance degrades, you get stutters even in Editor. A restart fixes it completely. #GameDev #UnrealEngine
Here is Lee Petty, having to deal with Unreal Engine shenanigans and just having to do this wait for computing references in a freakin 1h 45min breakdown vid haha. I love it , none shall escape the game engine quirks! www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMa5... #UnrealEngine #UE5
One of my favorite things in the world is seeing people enjoying themselves quietly listening to music on the bus. Small movements, head bop etc. It's nice thing to see people enjoying life in small ways.
There is joy in creating something by yourself. Something worth remembering in these times especially for the ones that feel despair for the future. Just create anyways, for you, for joy. #craftmanship #gamedev #hobbies #creativity
The best weekend days are the ones where you can spend like 12-14h on your own personal project, whatever it may be. Just put on your favorite music albums and go for it all day.
Started playing Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and my first reaction to the game after playing for like 20 mins or so, is damn, I really enjoy the voice-acting! #Banishers #Gaming
Been playing some open world games this year. Mostly mixed feelings, it feels like teams are scrambling to reach the expectations of the genre while games that have more focused experiences has excelled Favorite open worlds this year is probably: MH Wilds & Nightreign #GameDev
So I tested out Diversion for version control for my smaller projects. Its stupid easy to setup. www.diversion.dev , had version control setup in like less than 2 minutes. Both for my source-files and the project itself. Neat! #GameDev #GameDevelopment #VersionControl

Been playing Star Wars Outlaws and I'm pretty impressed with it. Especially since I worked at Ubisoft Massive for 10 years and know the tech it's cool to see it move in this direction. The quality of everything compared to say Division 1 is incredible. #Gamedev #SWOutlaws
I'm 50/50 when it comes to stepped-anim in games. I feel like having a choppy character & fluid everything else is weird. If I made a game like this I'd force usage static cameras + hand-animating everything with steps + moving objects on a grid with steps XD..team would hate me
With the drama in regards to retracted awards I do feel like the IGDA needs to have a more fleshed out AI Policy. Any award show should do their due diligence before handing out awards, handing the award to another after the fact just sours the experience for everybody =/ #GameDev
Had a a good evening hanging out & drinking beer with the She Was Such A Good Horse team. They are making store.steampowered.com/app/2024600/... , extremely artistic and cool game, from some awesome people. Honestly can't wait to play it! #GameDev #IntoTheUnwell

Man do I miss more focus on immersive gameplay in more modern titles. Games are just becoming more & more static. I understand that its a huge production cost but its a bit sad to see large productions barely even doing the minimum when it comes to world interaction.
I was up at midnight to early morning watching the Game Awards with some really cool people involved in the swedish gamedev scene. Had a great time! I really enjoy when we come together like that, up all night, celebrating the successes of our peers, lets do it again! #Gamedev
You know that moment, when you play the game you are making & even though its rough its starting to come together, it finally feels like a game. Its such a wonderful feeling, just some more content, more variation & maybe something magical with happen in the future. #Gamedev

So I've been having lots of issues with stuttering in Oblivion Remastered. Turns out Resize Bar wasnt working even if toggled in BIOS. Flashed system bios and VGA BIOS for my MSI 3080. Framepacing is now smooth! #OblivionRemastered #PCGaming #PC
Let's give some appreciation for The Order 1886. It's 10 years old, hands down a lot more realistic & nicer looking than some modern titles. The care, effort, craftmanship put into the visuals is stunning even 10 years later. Thanks DF for the gifs ! Part 1
Considering how freakin well made #KingdomComeDeliverance2 is, maybe we should call these games Warhorse-likes instead of Bethesda-likes. I'm really loving the game, its so awesome. Spent all weekend playing from morning til evening. It was great & just what I needed!
Played some #EternalStrands , 2-3h. Not sure what to say about it to be honest, for some reason it reminds me of Fable but without the charm & mystique. Like...a light action rpg with some weird decisions regarding inventory management. Will keep playing & see what happens!
