14 years ago today, I received a call from my sister to get home. Mom was in the hospital, and it didn't look like she was going to make it. I bused from Ottawa to the hospital in Perth, making it just in time to watch mom take her last breath. I hope you're resting well, mom.

Evelyne Blais-Savoie’s agency has confirmed, via social media, her invitation to PWHL San Jose’s camp this fall. Blais-Savoie, who is from San Jose, is a right winger, a graduate of the University of Vermont and played last season with HV71, where she recorded 13 points in 35 games.
