Great time cruising around Glacier Bay, Alaska today, seeing Margerie, Reid, and the Grand Pacific glaciers. Definitely thought of my Penn State crysosphere professor
What a fun day in Juneau. Mendenhall Glacier. Orcas. Humpback whales. And sleepy sea lions.

Well that’s a new heat index record for my New Jersey weather station. 2nd highest dew point value too
Escaping off to Alaska this weekend is going to be so nice. The heat in Texas over the last week has been brutal. Can’t wait to see my first real glacier too… no offense to the tiny one I saw in Wyoming last year
Collecting imagery around the U.S.-Mexico border along the Rio Grande today out of Austin.
As a Star Wars fan and an aerial photographer, learning that there’s Star Wars-named arrival points is hilarious. Who comes up with these?
Thunderstorms in New Jersey last night were no joke. Uprooted mostly healthy-looking trees. Some snapped trees too. I counted up to 10 uprooted or snapped trees just within a few blocks of me.
This one takes the cake for closest pass from an airliner
Always fun to be doing aerial photography at flight levels. Don’t normally see airline logos this clearly, though.

Local Shell up to $5/gallon for regular gas. Ouch. Surrounding stations are about a dollar less
Tornadoing in NJ. Snowing in PA. Have we tried turning the weather off and back on again?
Can honestly say I can’t remember the last time we had 70+° temps with thunderstorms followed immediately by snow the next day. New Jersey is behaving more like Colorado.
Really cool day (literally) touring Kennedy Space Center. Timed it really well since Artemis II returns to the VAB (4th photo) tomorrow. Saw the crawler transporter getting ready (3rd photo) to head out to the launchpad
A look at New Mexico from the Oklahoma border. Sangre de Cristo Mountains way in the distance
Heading back to NJ tomorrow coming from Miami is going to suck big time. Temperature-wise and sunset-wise. Sunset is an hour earlier in NJ. Who doesn’t love 4:30 sunsets?
Hotel designer clearly did not think things through here…
Some shots of the southern Appalachians. Finished up our LiDAR collection here last week.
Sometimes it’s really easy to realize when your SQL query doesn’t produce the expected results, because according to this, Aroostook County Maine got hit by 16 major hurricanes 🫠
