Jumping back into Fire Emblem having only just got to a point where I can roam around a hub area of sorts and holy moly. Lots of infodump. It's very Persona-ey. Apparently I need to remember to feed a bird.

New fire emblem hasn't quite clicked with me yet (only 4 hours in) but maybe because I liked Awakening and the series is now quite different. Apparently 100 hours, a LOT of story front loaded, its character art isn't gelling with me so far either.

So I've been pondering the Steam Frame. It's hella expensive, but I've been intrigued by some older simpler VR games that I imagine should run on it without streaming (I don't have a great PC). But then I wonder if I'll play it for that long really. Then I just thought... Balatro in VR?

Playing Tell Me Why at the mo. As someone who skips 90% of stories (which obviously would be redundant in a story game lol), I'm finding it fairly engaging so far. Like, it gives the vibes of Dear Esther/Gone Home but more organic given you're chatting to your sister.

Damn can't believe Square Enix keep struggling to work out how much padding and mini games their largest RPG should have when they nailed it years ago in Super Mario RPG (the answer is no padding, a number of transitional mini games)

Okay yea glad I finally beat Fire Emblem Awakening. Permadeath makes it so funny. By the last mission I had to buy another me to win and sent my last remaining troops to be fodder. Tragic. A win's a win tho.

I'm a day late but have an old chiptune cover of the cirno theme remix in the touhou 12.3 fighting game I think it's pretty good (especially as it only uses 4 channels (ignoring the pops I put in the dpcm channel))
