I miss magazines and CDs. I also miss magazines that came with CDs.
And that’s a wrap on Final Fantasy VIII for the first time since it originally came out! I forgot pretty much everything about it: how weird the play mechanics and story are, how relatively small the world is, so many obtuse secrets. I still enjoy it though!
Doggo update: Very Serious Doggo Edition. I don’t know what I did but I’m pretty sure it got me sent to the principal’s office.
I remember writing a news article about this game based on the press release and talking to the publisher a bit for extra details. I recall it felt very confused about what the game wanted to be.

Just spent 5 hours jamming out to Nintendo Music via CarPlay and I gotta say it’s an A+ value-add for NSO. I hate to admit it but if they ever spun it off into its own paid service with a separate subscription I would probably bite.
