I just did this survey. They want to start incorporating AI, and they’re trying to “just ask questions” their way into it. I hate this.
Meredith McClaren@iniquitousfish.bsky.social · last yr.I don't know if it's being sent at random, but I got an email survey from Patreon. And I never miss an opportunity to yell. It's all about AI. They very much want to use AI. They very much want to use your art to train AI. They could not broadcast more clearly how much they want a piece of that AI
My hill: kids are naturally creative and artistic. You give kids paper and something to draw with and you will get the wildest shit ever created. It's an actual tragedy & horrifically anti-human to be shoving AI on them and encouraging them to stunt that essential part of themselves.
Greg Pak@gregpak.net · last yr.Consumer-facing "A.i." in education is evil and if you push it on kids to make "art" you're hurting them.
It's happening. Please call your reps and yell about SCREEN, KOSA, and IODA
Chris Geidner@chrisgeidner.bsky.social · last yr.NEWS: SCOTUS allows Mississippi to enforce a restrictive internet-access law without explanation. Kavanaugh writes to say it is likely unconstitutional but he is voting to allow it, only repeating the legal rule for his reasoning. No one else wrote a word. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...
![SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES
No. 25A97
NETCHOICE, LLC v. LYNN FITCH, ATTORNEY
GENERAL OF MISSISSIPPI
ON APPLICATION TO VACATE STAY
[August 14, 2025]
The application to vacate stay presented to JUSTICE ALITO and by him referred to the Court is denied.
JUSTICE KAVANAUGH, concurring in the denial of the application to vacate stay.
I concur in the Court's denial of NetChoice's application for interim relief because NetChoice has not sufficiently demonstrated that the balance of harms and equities favors it at this time. See Response in Opposition 37-39.
To be clear, NetChoice has, in my view, demonstrated that it is likely to succeed on the merits-namely, that enforcement of the Mississippi law would likely violate its members' First Amendment rights under this Court's precedents. See Moody v. NetChoice, LLC, 603 U. S. 707
(2024); Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Assn., 564 U. S. 786 (2011); cf. Free Speech Coalition, Inc. v. Paxton, 606 U.S. _ (2025). Given those precedents, it is no surprise that the District Court in this case enjoined enforcement of the Mississippi law and that seven other Federal District Courts have likewise enjoined enforcement of similar state laws.
See No. 1:24-cv-170 (SD Miss., June 18, 2025);

2024); Computer & Communications Industry Assn. v.
Paxton, 747 F. Supp. 3d 1011 (WD Tex. 2024); NetChoice, LLC v. Reyes, 748 F. Supp. 3d 1105 (Utah 2024); NetChoice, LLC v. Bonta, 770 F. i'm pro this bc in the spiritually bereft and empathetically underdeveloped psyche of the average american, shame seems to be the only effective behavioral motivator at the present. i personally dislike using shame as a tool for change but if it's what we've got to work with, make fools of them

Had a professor at college who got let go for being a communist and trying to "radicalize students" and all he posts on Facebook is gay shit. He just posted a picture of a naked filipino man wearing angel wings and captioned "this is why I keep coming back to the philippines"
