Hello BlueSky! After years long social media posting hiatus (I fell for that AI bro narrative, NGL, I fell for it!) I figured it's time to get back in there and keep doing what I do. Which is... #commissions! They're quick, don't break the bank *and* fun to make! If interested, send me a chat! 📫

I painted this portrait of Sir Morien a while ago. He was yet another badass of the Round Table, half-brother to Sir Percival, and could deflect spears and arrows with his sword in the middle of combat, like a frickin' medieval jedi.

I find mythology interesting, so a while back while reading I had the sudden urge to paint Thor-but-bionic-arms. So I did and here he is. I also made him thick af, perhaps too thick. Is he too thick? I don't know if I'll do any other norse gods. Maybe

I think this guy was the first time I realised I could just *not* paint a background, and people would still be into it. I even drew attention to the lack of background, by making his cape disappear into it, and people actually praised it! So I've been riding that ever since

Every now and then I'm lucky enough to have a commission that just kinda... lets me do whatever I want. If I remember right, this client just asked me to paint the Grim Reaper, however I felt like representing him. Coolest job in the world? Maybe

Bild

Just a close-up of a thing I'm working on, in which Sir Balin features as a central character and draws a cursed blade, unleashing a great doom upon the kingdom and spiraling the land into catastrophic consequences that would echo through centuries... Also shiny shiny shoulder!

A D&D commission from.... 2019? 2020? After my 'struggling-to-be-an-art-streamer' phase, I went through a period of doing a lot of characters for D&D players, and they basically enabled me to become a full-time freelancer

Hesperus, God of the Evening Star Painted this guy a while back, when I was investigating Greek mythology a little, and also admiring Pete Mohrbacher's Angelarium artwork. Been tempted a couple times to paint some more characters and turn it into a series

Bild

I put this one away in the WIP folder a while back; I really like the energy and the absurd fabric, but I'm not happy with my choices for the armour at all, and I think the pose could be pushed further. I think with some repainting and reposing it could turn out alright

Bild

My first ever piece for Games Workshop, painted a couple years ago! The cover of Shade of Khaine; this was pretty much a dream come true, Warhammer has always been important to me since I was a kid, and gratefully I've done many more paintings for them since

Bild

Sir Gawain, everyone knows him for the Green Knight story, but apparently he was also quite a ladies man, if his title 'The Maiden's Knight' is any indication. Also he's superhuman; when the sun is highest in the sky, it invigorates him with super strength. More than meets the eye!
