I've already got, like, 99% of a website stood up to host Chroma Magica... @iznaut.com's Bimbo static site generator is really nice, very easy to work with. Very glad I can just dump my Markdown files in there and have most of the work done for me. ☺️

Thinking about what elements/roles each character thus far (as of Chapter 4) would have if they were in Magia Exedra… I think it's like: Chroma - Aqua, Attacker Trisha - Light, Breaker Natalie - Dark, Breaker Leah - Flame, Attacker ??? - …Can't really fight (at least not like a Magical Girl does)

Progress on episode 4: "logic and tricks" continues apace! I've written about 4500 words, and there remains another section of the chapter to write. Don't think it'll be as long as the last, but I'm still excited to keep going!

I was playing Magia Exedra earlier, and remembered that Witches and Familiars in there aren't identified by their runic names, but by type (i.e. "Chairperson Witch" or "Symbol Witch's minion"). I like readers being able to know the runic names, but I also like the runes themselves, so I compromised.

i have a few puella magi madoka magica fan characters but this is the only one i've actually drawn: natalie "gloomdust" madison. she wished to become her sparkledog OC and wound up being stuck as a dog

5,000 words already written in this chapter! And there's still one more significant section left to write! This will be the longest chapter thus far by a long shot. Oh, it's so exciting! …Writing this section also made me cry, which was fun. We love writing from experience, baybee! [shaky thumbs up]
