If an impoverished 40 year old with a deep interest, but lack of formal education, in astrophysics wanted to go from Literally Zero College™ to professional Astrophysicist™, what would the process be like? Could one reasonably start and finish school, AND have an active career when starting so late?

Roots of Pacha is the only farming/life sim I've played that openly lets players date multiple partners. That's dope as hell.
