I think I'm at the end of the play-loud-music-get-tinnitus-play-loud-music-to-stop-tinnitus-sound loop but loops don't end.
I got to teach my kids about the dagger moth caterpillar (cool name). Slightly toxic. If you touch it, the hairs get stuck in your skin, causing a rash that burns. I think I'll wait until it's a moth to see it again.
"Bounty hunters. We don't need their scum." 4/6 tracked down. Gotta catch em all. Wait, wrong franchise quote!

I don't make it out to the record store as much as I'd like, so my wife brought the store to me!
It's amazing how drastically better the live tracks from Your Favorite Toy are than the studio recording. Night and day.

I've been going to Houston for years for work. While there I also visit family, check out local eats and record shops. It's a sprint wrapped in a dash stuffed in a marathon. Recently I learned we're not doing the Houston conference anymore. Thank God I pushed myself to do the after work side quests.
Verge's interview with the new Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider… sounds pretty damning at first because he's downplayed liberals. I read his blog about wanting to cast a wider net ("Impressions from my first week at Bluesky") and I'm getting off the jump to conclusions mat for this one. I'll wait and see.

Would like a word with the Apple Music designers. This is 💩.
One farm. Two Schrutes. Not enough room in Scranton for both of them. Tune in Tuesday nights at 8/7 central on NBC for Beeted Rivalry.
my idea about two Bluesky shit posters who experience a passionate hate to love romance is called Skeeted Rivalry this works on so many levels, I'm so proud of myself
The adage is to dress for the job you want but I'm still dressing for the people I want to talk to. Music people.
Back in business again! The best rock n roll band there ever was kicked things off in Charlotte, NC tonight! AC/DC's setlist was all thriller no filler. I'm grateful to have been there.
My ode to Don Melvoin, aka Count Zappula. 🧛🏻♂️ I think most people walk through life not understanding how important they are or how much they impact each other. What seems like something small can have a ripple effect. Welcome back to the rapport, friends.

Tech absolutely operates in a bubble. The engineering mindset trap: focus on a solution, then hope adopters bring their problems to it for validation. Backwards is an understatement. Meanwhile, there are real problems in plain sight: homelessness, mental health, sustainability, equality, fascists…
Every day is like “this company is trying to build a gateway to hell” yet we are all supposed to pretend like everything is fine.

I can't get enough of Mountain Caller. Perfect, nonverbal workday tunes to have quietly in the background. Huh. Guy who lives in the mountains loves a band with "mountain" in the name. Shocking.
