Oh, I love that idea - especially that it’s unconventional and tells a personal story. This is something I miss on this page - is very generic. But I must park it for now. It took me too much time I could spend writing posts or talks. I’ll let it settle and then iterate again.

Now while I did use ChatGPT, ironically, to play around with a few mockups due to my lack of design skills, an interesting alternative could have been actually calling out the design choice. On initial website visit, you could show a small, uniustrustive callout that clarifies any doubt

The same goes for privacy in general. “I have nothing to hide,” as I often hear. Instead of ranting, we should think about how to educate people, especially non-technical ones. Moreover, we should proactively approach folks around us, as this is the only way underground ideas can spread.

hard pill to swallow for atproto developers/creators: 99% of potential users either do not care about, value, understand, or want to “own their own data” i see so many apps/projects lead with this “value prop”, but it’s not an important or meaningful consideration for most people

In March, I ran a half-marathon in 2:16:51. Today, I can barely run 2,5km at once. It’s unbelievable how difficult it is to get back to #running after a ~10-week break (still playing tennis at least twice a week during that time). Not giving up, yet!

Made some new friends this weekend.

I'm giving #tennis my best, and I still suck. And that's okay. Tennis has become a huge part of my life over the past few years. It's the main reason I lost over 40 kilos, got my health back, and started living again.

Just got my copy of Grokking Web Apps Security and I’m loving the author’s writing style. “The tech world moves so fast that programmer years are like dog years.” Couldn’t think of a better metaphor for our industry. At this pace, I’d be bald already… if I had any hair left. 😅
