Just heard that your dad's started a Rod Liddle vigil in the town precinct and is wearing an all-black tracksuit in homage to his fallen hero.
I knew the real Rod Liddle, not the bigot he presented himself as in columns. Once, I witnessed him heroically running into a burning building to save those trapped inside. Unfortunately the building was a school and it wasn't on fire. He was trying to shag the kids.

I knew the real Rod Liddle. Once, at The Spectator garden party, I witnessed him saving a family of hedgehogs. Yes, he was a wife beating paedo, but he also saved those hedgehogs.

I was actually commissioned by Bravo TV to host the UK version To Catch A Predator. It was called Andy Churnwell's Nonce Hunters. Nell McAndrew was my co-host for the pilot, which sadly got poor ratings. "What do you have to say for yourself, noncey?" was my catchphrase.
