The LAPD has declined to renew its Flock contract after an internal audit found 161 false stolen-vehicle alerts in just two months or the equivalent of a 32.3% false positive rate. Flock has created an unacceptable and dangerous surveillance state and they can barely do it right.

Hinojosa: 2018, Beto ran against Ted Cruz. That’s the closest we came to flipping Texas. This year, for my primary, I got twice as many votes as Beto got in 2018, even though I had eight opponents, because there’s just more energy. So, this is our year and our best chance in 25-plus years to win.
