KH really is a series I wish I could get into. I know it's super beloved, but there's so much holding me back from trying it, which sucks. The barrier to entry is pretty extreme. Plus, I don't think I could reasonably handle seeing a Final Fantasy character get kebab'd then immediately hear this:

You know, I've always joked about how in order to follow Kingdom Hearts you need to play 4 main games, 12 spinoffs, read 5 novels, see a stage production, watch 2 movies, and see the 8 episode mini-series... And apparently they are now making a miniseries. KH not beating the allegations.

"i hate a popular thing" is mostly boring sooooo instead tell me the piece of media you love despite everyone else hating it me? i have many, but the two that spring to mind are Milla Jovovich film Ultraviolet which i own twice accidentally, PS3 game NeverDead, and Super Mario Bros. (film, 1993)

I love how Insomniac is being as petty about this shit as possible, especially with them having direct Sony IPs licensed. Just letting Sony know how dumb they think this whole no disc thing is without really poking the bear.

Basically any of the modern-setting FPS games (Call of Duty Battlefield, etc) I've fallen out of FPS in general over the years, but even back in the day I never got the appeal to playing them over something like Halo for multiplayer, Doom for combat, or F.E.A.R. for narrative, etc.

I will never understand hate-playing/watching/etc something. Like if you have already experienced something and know you hate it, or are going into it wanting to hate it, why not spend your time and money on something you might actually like instead? Just a weird mindset to me.

Well, I've been sucked into Mistria pretty hard. I was "just gonna play a day or two" tonight before going back to Xenoblade Half a month in-game later and it's bedtime 😵‍💫 Whoops. On the bright side, my farm is doing very well, and I'm making lots of progress in the mines!

Okay, that's one day of playing Fields and man, I am having a blast. I think it's gonna be my weekend game - at least until I either "beat" it (finish the main content since farm sims are theoretically endless), or beat Xenoblade 2. But man, it's so vibey and wonderful. 🙂‍↕️
