So in TERRIBLE Nerdfigher form I have only just read @hankgreen.bsky.social 's An Absolutely Remarkable thing and holy fuckballs was that an incredible read. I struggle with fiction reading and maybe do a few books a year. I just read this in 3 days. Literally HOOKED. #AbsolutelyRemarkableThing

Currently vibe coding, but if vibe coding was making coffee in your favourite mug, putting on your favourite chill album and turning off the big light while the birds chirp outside. Channeling REAL vibes.

Absolutely blessed to have seen Raye last night. Genuinely might have been the best gig I've ever seen. She and her band are STUPIDLY talented. #Raye
I thought it was a pivotal British experience to have a scrappie come round in a van with a tannoy on it according to some chats with friends this is NOT universal???

Paying homage to @coollike.gay 's P4A segment however by only using the BEST ingredient and 100% less mushy peas. Would recommend. We're counting down to the end of P4A now! Time to smash last year's figure! 🦒 #P4A #ProjectForAwesome

One of the double-edged swords of being neurodivergent and a lecturer is when you passionately teach a topic for 4 hours, but also talk and tangent enthusiastically like it's going out of fashion. Actively taking recommendations for vocal soothing lozenges...
Bristol Patchway station with a nice BSL installation at the moment! An alternative message might have been 'Together we are soaked and fed up of this dreary weather'. Might not fit on the fence, mind. #BSL
Spent the day converting my control mappings to be single inputs only! It was previously clunky and less accessible with a series of dual button presses, taps and holds. Now though, much cleaner, easier to understand, and navigable with single, slower interactions. Success!
A moment of solidarity to all my January birthday friends. At least the sun is out! #29
While chatting to a stranger in a crowd waiting for the Edinburgh cannons to fire, I unknowingly asked an undercover Adam Brody if his son wanted to sit on my shoulders as his were occupied and I'm taller and could see over the crowd My partner was in SHOCK, and I politely had no idea who he was
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie Please Quote this with your most minor celebrity interaction

I tried Gleam for Advent of Code, and I get the hype. AoC was only 12 days this year (24 parts). The easy days were tougher than usual, the hard days were hard but fun. Rust-like compiler errors, pipes everywhere, echo is great, fold_until feels like cheating. blog.tymscar.com/posts/gleama...
I Tried Gleam for Advent of Code, and I Get the Hype
A 12 day Advent of Code year convinced me Gleam is the real deal, thanks to Rust-like errors, great pipes, and surprisingly ergonomic FP.
